Grapevine 100% Barbera
Vineyards 1) Plateau located in the municipality of Sinio with sandy-limestone soil facing west, planting year 2001 . 2) Plot located in the commune of Serralunga d’Alba with clayey soil, planting year 1999 .
Harvest Manual, with selection of grapes arranged in perforated boxes. The harvest period depends on the phenolic ripeness of the cluster and the climate.
Vinification Maceration with skins for 10-15 days with daily pumping over and punching down; followed by racking, malolactic fermentation and aging in wood for at least 6 months, depending on the vintage.
Tasting A full-bodied, big-bodied wine that is loved for the well-balanced tones between the typical acidity of Barbera and the softness imparted by aging.
